Since we work in a medical office environment and operate a AAAASF certified surgicenter it is important for every staff member to be CPR certified. Last Thursday, The Adams Center staff received their CPR certification with AED training from The American Red Cross. Adams Center manager Michelle Kolodziej believes that training should not limited to Dr. Adams and the nursing staff, we all need to be educated in case of a patient emergency. The staff found the hands-on AED training to be very useful in particular. In AED training, staff members learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED).
Take a look at some of the photos we snapped of staff members practicing their skills. CPR is not a piece of cake. It’s serious and hard work. Try it. 100 compressions per minute! It’s sweat and muscle on your part.
We hope you take comfort in know that at The Adams Center, your health and safety are our top priority!
