| Blepharoplasty Goal: |
Blepharoplasty procedure corrects droopy eyelids and puffiness either above (upper blepharoplasty), or below the eyes (lower blepharoplasty).
Blepharoplasty procedure creates a more pleasing look to the eye area by removal of excess skin and fat. |
| Blepharoplasty Method: |
Excess fat and skin are removed and the muscle reshaped. While we may
still use a traditional blepharoplasty procedure on some patients, we
typically use a laser
blepharoplasty procedure to make an incision on the inside of the
eyelid. This method is called transconjunctival
blepharoplasty.
Additionally, we may perform an Arcus
Marginalis Release to correct dark circles under the eyes.
