Chemical Peels

Why Consider a Chemical Peel?

A Chemical Peel smoothes wrinkles and improves skin pigmentation. Peels can be done to a variety of depths to achieve different results.

Chemical Peel Method:

A chemical solution, usually Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA), Phenol, or Salicylic Acid burns the outer layers of skin. New, younger looking skin grows back in its place.

Local or general anesthesia is used during a Chemical Peel.

You may return home the same day of your peel. Swelling may last for 2 days, and your skin will heal within 7 days; however, redness may last for up to 2 months.
