Dr Adams Presents Papers at Utah Conference-
I presented papers on the Obagi Blue Peel and Ultrasonic Liposuction at
a plastic surgery meeting in Snowbird to 125 plastic surgeons. The all digital
presentation included my thoughts on the improved appearance of the skin
after the Obagi Blue Peel and the contours obtained with ultrasonic liposuction.
Silicone does not cause disease-This was the conclusion
of an independent nationwide study looking at the long term effects of
silicone. I am currently participating in a study of silicone implants
in a select group of patients. If a patient qualifies for the study, she
must agree to a minimum of 5 years of follow up and being in a national
registry under the guidelines of the Federal Drug Administration.
Treatment for Cellulite- We have had a Synergie machine
at The Giuliano Day Spa on Newbury Street for 5 months now and it appears
to be yielding good results. Certainly the science supports its effectiveness.
