Ask Dr. Adams a question!

How long will I be out of work following a Blepharoplasty?

Q: I’m considering Blepharoplasty. How long would I have to be out of work?

Blepharoplasty is a great technique for reducing the sagging of either the upper or lower eyelids. Due to the bruising and swelling that can occur from this type of surgery, I recommend patients take approximately 10 days off from work.

However, I use a Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty in most cases, and the recovery times are often less than with a traditional blepharoplasty.
