The Face Lift procedure (also known as a Rhytidectomy) is used to smooth the face and neck to restore more pleasing contours to the area.

While a Face Lift used to be the only option for patients to reduce advanced signs of aging, several advanced laser, or other non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures now also exist. We will cover these in options in your consultation.

In a Face Lift, facial skin is lifted, the deeper structures repositioned and the skin re-draped over the new contour through incisions under chin, around the ear, and hairline. Excess skin is then removed to complete the process.

A Face Lift procedure may be performed under either local or general anesthesia.

Patients often combine procedures such as a neck lift, eyelid rejuvenation , Laser Lyte Peel (Active FX), and/or Deep FX to achieve complete facial rejuvenation.

Most patients return home the same day, or following day after a Face Lift.
