The blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) procedure is great for correcting the excess skin of the upper eyelid and puffiness either above (upper blepharoplasty), or below the eyes (lower blepharoplasty).

A Blepharoplasty creates a more pleasing look to the eye area by removing and/or repositioning excess skin and fat.

Excess fat and skin are removed and/or repositioned and the muscles are reshaped.

While we may still use a traditional blepharoplasty procedure on some patients, we typically use a laser blepharoplasty procedure to make an incision on the inside of the eyelid. This method is called transconjunctival blepharoplasty.

Additionally, we may perform an Arcus Marginalis Release to correct dark circles under the eyes, or in some cases a Total Eyelid Rejuvenation.

The Blepharoplasty procedure may be performed under either local or general anesthesia.

You will be able to return home the same day following your Blepharoplasty.
